History
The Dayton Valley Conservation District,
initially established as the Middle Carson River Working Group in 1994 and later transitioning into a Conservation District in 1999, has a rich history of environmental stewardship. With over 60 successful river restoration projects under its belt, the district has been a cornerstone in supporting landowners and agricultural producers along the riverbank. Additionally, our commitment extends to managing noxious weeds and providing natural resource education to further enhance the ecological health of the Dayton Valley.
